Who I Am
Armond WakeUp is a multidisciplinary artist, coach, and community architect with more than twenty years of creative work grounded in purpose, emotional wellness, and cultural reflection. Based in Columbus, Ohio, he has built a career at the intersection of music, storytelling, coaching, and community care—creating spaces that help people slow down, gain clarity, and move through the world with intention.
As an artist, Armond has released over twenty projects across two decades, including Even If I Lose, Black Jordans & White Socks, and the collaborative album Armond & Doc, Too. His work blends sharp lyricism, soulful production, and lived experience to explore themes of identity, faith, resilience, and self-discovery. Beyond the studio, he brings this same perspective to video essays, livestreams, and coaching-driven conversations through signature series like WakeUp Tonight, Model Ministry, and Everything Is Wrestling.
Armond is equally known for creating restorative spaces through music. His weekend Sabbath Sessions are a hybrid of DJ performance, guided reflection, and emotional grounding—designed as a counterpoint to burnout culture. The Rappity Rap Room, a monthly in-person event, extends his long-standing dedication to hip-hop as both art form and community tradition, offering a rare space for deep listening and cultural connection.
As a coach, Armond blends creativity, emotional health, and rhythm-focused life design. His work with veterans and civilians is rooted in helping people find sustainable momentum, build healthier internal narratives, and navigate transitions with clarity. In 2026, Armond is expanding his coaching practice with renewed focus, integrating academic study, storytelling, and community-centered experiences into a unified ecosystem.
Across all platforms—Patreon, YouTube, livestreams, in-person events, and his growing body of music—Armond WakeUp continues to build a world where creativity and wellness are not separate lanes but shared pathways back to purpose. His mission is simple: create space for people to reflect, breathe, and reconnect with who they were always becoming.
